We made for the idyllic Isle of Wight to soak up the last of the Indian-summer sun - breakfast overlooking the sea, sandy beaches, waterskiing and sailboats. We didn’t expect to stretch our holiday wardrobes into October, but we’re very happy for our new winter purchases to languish in the wardrobe just a little longer.
